Dronair Project

INTRODUCTION

Unmanned cargo robots in the air, on the ground and at the sea can dramatically reduce cost of logistics worldwide and increase efficiency for industrial users and end customers.
While PwC have estimated addressable market size for airborne drones alone to be 127 billion dollar , the current industry limitations including lack of stable credit, costly insurance and near-prohibitive regulations in some countries do not allow it to realize its full potential. Currently, this industry exists in form of feasibility studies carried out by large corporations or startups. Universal operating platform for the cargo robots does not exist.
Dronair Operating Platform is the first B2R (business-to-robotsblockchain based operating platform applicable globally in all sectors of a developing cargo robotics industry. It will be initially developed and tested by using the first industrial cargo airborne robot – DAIR drone – which will also give Dronair instant access to its client base for development of unmanned business processes. Later all other unmanned cargo systems: in the air, on the ground and at the sea will be connected to Dronair
The first feedback from our customers in oil and gas industry confirms that if they switch from helicopters to cargo drones they can supply their on-shore rigs with 5 to 10 times less cost. Dronair as a blockchain with built-in smart contracts will provide trusted source of data and reasonable control over unmanned assets for clients, logistics operators, insurance and leasing companies, banks, and authorities worldwide.
It will unveil new profitable business opportunities for all industry participants, transportation system with lower risk for the society, and increased overall affordability of goods and services due to substantial cost cutting in the global supply chain.

DRONAIR Ecosystem

In recent years we’ve witnessed rapid urbanisation in many areas, and this trend is set to continue into the future. The result of this rapid urbanisation is increased pollution, congested roads, and decreased efficiency which is mainly caused by delays in the flow of people and goods. Urban first and last mile delivery is a major part of the problem; as online shopping increases, so does demand for this service. Using drones for delivery provides major relief for inner city areas by taking unnecessary traffic off the roads and directing it into the skies instead.

Examples of how drone deliveries can work:

• The scenario: a long-haul delivery arrives from outside the city and is sorted at a warehouse, being separated automatically according to certain criteria, drones then collect packages from the conveyer belts for delivery. A smartphone app and GPS allows the customer to place orders and track their delivery.
• Another scenario: the DRONAIR sits on top of a delivery truck, awaiting a parcel from the driver; the barcode on the parcel is scanned by the drone, it then uses GPS to fly to the destination. Afterwards, the drone hooks up with the truck, recharges its batteries, and gets ready for its next delivery run.

DRONAIR has built-in AI and Facial

Recognition System

The best aspect of the DRONAIR is its facial recognition and artificial intelligence, allowing you to use features that let the drone orbit around you and follow you. It can even take excellent photo of customer by recognizing facial patterns and structure. The exclusivity of servicing operations of DRONAIR - the world’s first heavy and industrial grade cargo drone.
It is a fundamentally new drone vehicle with a hybrid gasoline-fueled engine that outperforms existing drone solutions. It is capable of vertical take-off and landing, and has an ultra-high useful load of up to 400 kg/ 880 lbs and an exceptional flying range of up to 350km/220 miles. The DRONAIR suits multiple market segments, including logistics, agriculture and firefighting to name a few. It already has clients which would allow DRONAIR to develop new business processes of unmanned logistics. Those clients will also bring in transactions to execute on DRONAIR. DRONAIR IP and knowhow fully protected.

MARKET PROBLEMS

The drone ( cargo robots ) market will grow steadily in the consumer, commercial, and military sectors. In a 2016 report, Goldman Sachs estimated that drone technologies will reach a total market size of $100 billion between 2016 and 2020.
Though 70% of this figure would be linked to military activities, the commercial business represents the fastest growth opportunity, projected to reach $13 billion between 2016 and 2020. In many business activities, drones can substitute traditional methods of operation. This development comes after the Federal Aviation Administration expanded permissions for commercial, non-hobbyist usage of drones. With less human operation and no safety infrastructure, drones can reduce time and costs.
They can also enhance data analytics, which allow companies to better comprehend and predict operating performance. In some industries, drones will even enable new business models and opportunities. PWC estimates that commercial applications have a total addressable market of $127 billion globally. $100 billion – is the service market size for DRONAIR in agriculture, logistics, and infrastructure. Drones are expected to become part of daily operations across industries as varied as insurance, agriculture, and journalism. Consulting firm BCG estimates the industrial drone fleet in Europe and the US will be $50 billion by 2050 and more than 1 million units, with most of the value linked to drone services and data collection.

INVESTMENT TRENDS

Investments Are Concentrated in China, Israel, and the US, with Each Country Serving a Different Market Segment The majority of investments and well-funded startups are concentrated in China, Israel, and the US.
However, each country has a different focus within the market: On one hand, China has dominated the consumer market and hardware solutions with Dajiang Innovations (DJI), which accounted for 36% of North American consumer drone sales last year. On the other hand, US companies are focused on developing specific commercial hardware solutions or end-to-end software for commercial applications, and Israel has been at the forefront of military application development. Israeli drone companies are also now leading the way for autonomous solutions for enterprises with Tel Aviv-based Airobotics.
To date, the race for advanced commercial solution development has been led by US companies and startups, furthered by the mature local market and demand for analytical solutions for businesses. With that said, I expect that Chinese companies will acquire a stronger foothold in the commercial market, leveraging their competencies in manufacturing, hardware solutions, and the development of their internal market. In fact, China’s giant DJI started producing commercial drones and developing software applications a year ago.

DRONAIR Operating Platform technical details and economics

Blockchain concept for the DRONAIR
Dronair architecture is based on two building blocks:
1. Dronair blockchain itself - private permissioned blockchain customized for the most effective usage in the industry;
2. Ethereum ERC-20 DAIR tokens-based perimeter of public blockchain for processing and settling DAIR tokens transactions and communicating them back and forth with Dronair. Private (permissioned) blockchain is required to simplify the development and support and give an opportunity to choose solution most appropriate for each particular task. Moreover we want to be independent of the performance of public networks (e.g. scalability issues with Ethereum) and not wait for transactions to be committed in public network. At the moment we are considering three different approaches for the Dronair: creating our own Ethereum fork, Dronair-specific custom platform, built on top of either Exonum libraries or instance of R3 Corda blockchain. All tokens issued at public Ethereum network at the ICO stage are ERC-20 compatible and can be bought and sold on stock exchange. So we keep them in the public Ethereum network. At the same time these same tokens are going to be utilized as a cryptonomic fuel for the permissioned Dronair, so it is essential to synchronize balances between public Ethereum network and the Dronair

Community

The contributions in the token sale will be held by the Distributor (or its affiliate) after the token sale, and contributors will have no economic or legal right over or beneficial interest in these contributions or the assets of that entity after the token sale. To ensure transparency in the technology and business timeline for the Dronair, DAIR holders will be invited to quarterly town hall meetings to meet the Dronair team to discuss the vision, milestones and next steps forward. Open Telegram channels will be available to ensure ongoing dialogue. For the avoidance of doubt, the views of DAIR holders will be considered but the application of the assets of the Company (including without limitation all DAIR held) remain under the full control of the Board of Directors of the Company

DAIR Tokens synchronization

DAIR tokens are the currency for all operations in the Dronair. All contracts are processed in DAIR tokens. Although tokens are issued at public Ethereum network they are also fully used at Dronair. There are several options for synchronization. Using public Ethereum network transactions is the obvious way, but it locks Dronair performance due to different speed of transactions. Moreover additional public Ethereum network operations costs can ruin main advantages. Creating additional “internal tokens” as an alternative approach is going to dramatically increase complexity of the system because it depends on resource-consuming synchronization process between internal and external balances. The problem of storage and token balances reconciliation between Dronair and public Ethereum networks is solved by using payment channels and keeping balances in Ethereum public network. There are already several implementations of payment channels. And with Plasma project evolution shading, parallel transaction execution and most of all the scalability problem are going to be addressed.

DAIR Token - The internal token of DRONAIR

Dronair is using the DAIR - a utility token
DAIR properties include:
• Internal token of the Dronair required for any transaction,
• Fixed amount of 140,000,000,000 tokens,
• 25% of transaction fees goes to all token holders,
• 25% of transaction fees goes to the Community Development Fund to sustain constant system development and expansion

Distribution

The 140,000,000,000 DAIR tokens will be distributed as follows:
1. Pool A : Public-sale
40% will be allocated for sale (Public Sale phases). Unsold DAIR will be Burn.
2. Pool B: Private-sale
20% will be allocated for sale (Private Sale phases).
3. Pool C: Team - Advisor
20% will be allocated to the Dronair team (these will be locked initially and made transferrable monthly over 5 years) and will be allocated towards advisory, security and operational purposes.
4. Pool D: Marketing - Adoption
18% will be allocated towards partner and community development to incentivise participation.
5. Pool E: Foundation
12% will be alocated for Dronair Foundation

Use of funds

The project funds will be used for:
• 40% - Research & Development – including full-time salaries, contractors, research
• 30% - Marketing & Platform Development – to build a robust marketing campaign in several languages, user acquisition, etc.
• 22% - Operations, Business and Corporate Development – to grow business via strategicpartnerships, integration with various stakeholders, and acquiring or partnering with other relevant projects.
• 8% - Legal & Administrative - Legal, IP protection, accounting and other third party services needed to run our organization
